It is a shipyard primarily engaged in ship construction and repair. Doing business as Zamakona Pasaia Shipyard, the shipyard carries out new construction, repairs and major changes. Work is carried out with full guarantee and in accordance to the world's major classification societies, such as Lloyd's Register of Shipping, Bureau Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd's, Registro Italiano Navale, Nipon Kaiji Kyokai, De Norske Veritas, American Bureau of Shipping, etc. It was incorporated in June of 2006. The shipyard has a registered office located in Pasaia in Gipuzkoa, Spain. Its facilities, services and experience include: new construction up to 80 meters; floating dock repairs; repairs alongside or at anchor; alterations; boiler; pipework; valves; service engines and mechanical components (pumps, turbos); electricity; and clean coolants, blast-clean-paint of vessel, service CO2, thickness, seal change. The yard has two dry dock cranes and two construction platforms, which allow the shipyard to build ships of the following maximum dimensions: dry dock cranes No. 1 for vessels - 60 x 11 meters; dry dock cranes No. 2 for vessels - 40 x 9.5 meters; platform 1 for vessels: 85 x 13 meters; and platform 2 for vessels: 85 x 13 meters. The shipyard maintains its ship repairs services, with a floating dock for vessels up to 4,900 tons in displacements and a maximum interior dimension of 110x23 meters. It possesses long fitting piers: Platform line pier - 52 meters; South pier - 95 meters; East pier - 100 meters; South zone of Jetty No. 2 - 60 meters; North zone of Jetty No. 2 - 30 meters; Zone between Jetties - 60 meters; and South zone of Jetty No. 1 - 30 meters. The company is part of Zamakona Yards, one of Spain's main shipbuilding and ship repair groups.
